The Active Hostage Rescue program is designed to confront the well armed, organized and committed group of individuals whose sole intention is to cause as much destruction before being controlled or removed. They are prepared to deal with conventional forces and know the response tactics utilized in similar settings. They will exploit the small period it takes to notify, move, coordinate and take action, to the point the responding team is faced with an ensconced opponent prepared to repel a counter attack.

The course is designed for the established law enforcement organization looking for additional information on how to deal with an extraordinary situation. The progressive format starts with an examination of current case studies, concepts, preparation, execution and post operation. This course will teach coordinated movements of a small contingent of trained individuals to find and fix the threats in a central location with the intention of limiting their options and controlling the scene. Perhaps the best results are the leadership skills these individuals are provided that give them the tools they need to take charge on scene and make timely and critical decisions.
